Mental blockage

Another week clocked and marked off on the calendar. Where does the time go? I've been spending some of that time trying to decide what to blog about. I don't know why it seems so difficult. I am busy ALL the time. There are always new things going on and new concepts being explored yet a blog topic seems to evade me. I suppose I'm over-analyzing again. In the interest of getting something up, here are the things I learned this week (inspired by the list on twitter!)

Things I learned this week:

• "I can't" is nothing more than a state of mind that usually translates to "I won't" -- Call them on it and soon they can
• Working with people that are fun and interesting makes even the longest weeks bearable and worth while. This week we visited the a-maze-ing corn maze in Lucinda. Lots of fun! Hot wings at the Dew Drop Inn -- also very good.
  
• Twitter from Skype will get around the network filter at work.
• Kids dig podcasting. I am left wondering what the rest of the world thinks about our podcast but what I can tell you for sure is that the kids on it think it's "oober cool" -- whatever that means...
• I can listen to my brother-in-law's football games on-line. Go Centurions!

Ok -- this is all stuff that's happened within the last few hours and the last few days. It's a funny thing. While I'm sure I have plenty to say, when it comes to putting stuff in this blog I always seem to draw a blank. Suggestions for getting out of a rut are welcome...

For now, it's Friday night and I'm still sitting in front of my computer. Time to take a break!
