I like you. I do - but there are a few things we need to discuss. First, why no trackbacks?? Trackbacks would be really swell. Secondly, is there a way that I can get some kind of notifications about addtional posts added to posts that I commented on so I don't have to keep going back to each one and looking? I would really like it if you could ensre that I'm not going to miss something directed to me. I'm going to do some looking around for this answer and if I don't find one I like I'm going to start looking for another place to live. Thanks.
You can get comments sent to your email so you know when they have been sent to your blog... My biggest complaint, while we have Blogger's attention, is that I want to be able to comment directly on comments as opposed to the giant string of comments coming from a post. That, sirs or madams of Blogger, would be a truly powerful tool. Maybe that is what you meant by trackback...
ReplyDeleteI do get comments sent to my email when people comment on my blog but - if I comment on your blog and then you do, or someone else does, there is no way for me to get notification that there has been additional activity - unless I am missing something. The only way to know is to keep visiting and revisiting that page - and I don't like that - because I have other things to worry about. I just want to go back when I know there is something there to look at!
ReplyDeleteAs far as trackbacks go - I can live without that I suppose. It would just be nice. If, for instance, you wrote a really fantastic post and I wanted to respond to it with a post instead putting a comment on your blog, a trackback would let you and your readers know that I have done that.
When I find something that will do all of this - I'll let you know!
